Project: Development of a Modern CNC Portal Milling Machine

Mechanical Development
In this project, we undertook the complete development of a state-of-the-art CNC portal milling machine, managing every aspect from initial design to final assembly. The process began with meticulous CAD modeling, where we crafted a robust and precise machine structure that meets the highest standards of modern manufacturing. Following the design phase, we handled the procurement of all necessary components. Our team then proceeded to assemble the entire machine, paying close attention to detail to ensure optimal alignment, stability, and durability. The result is a powerful, high-precision milling machine that is ready for demanding industrial applications.

Electrical and Software Development
On the electrical side, we focused on creating an integrated system that included the development of a custom electrical cabinet and control system. This cabinet was meticulously designed to house all the necessary PCBs and connections for sensors, motors, and other critical components, ensuring seamless communication and control throughout the machine. To simplify the user experience, we engineered the system so that all connections can be made easily by the customer without any guesswork. Each input and output within the cabinet is accompanied by dedicated LEDs, providing clear visual indicators of the machine’s status. This feature not only enhances usability but also makes troubleshooting straightforward and efficient. We also developed CNC software tailored specifically for this machine, ensuring precise and efficient operation. To further support the end user, we produced comprehensive instructional videos covering everything from initial setup to advanced operation, making the system as user-friendly as it is powerful. The final product is a fully integrated CNC milling solution that combines cutting-edge mechanical design with sophisticated electrical engineering, all while prioritizing ease of use and maintainability.
